Civil Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Produce site/civil construction documents by studying project concepts, architectural drawings, and surveys
• Prepare engineering documents including construction plans, specifications, and schedules for grading, drainage, and utilities
• Manage permit submittal processes and coordination with review authorities
• Provide technical oversight and supervision for Project Engineers and Design Engineers
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope while developing client relationships
• Perform technical design for water, sewer, site planning, and erosion control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficiency with storm drainage design software (Hydrology Studio, Storm CAD, HEC-RAS, etc.)
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering designs to federal government clients
• Experience with BIM/REVIT
• PMP certification
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40hr Certification
• USACE CQM Certification
• Familiarity with SpecsIntact and Master Specs
• Active Secret Clearance
