Civil Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering tasks for transportation and remedial design projects
• Help develop design drawings and write technical specifications
• Perform engineering calculations to support various design projects
• Assist in writing design reports and technical memorandums
• Collaborate effectively with project teams
• Participate in field work, such as sampling or construction oversight assignments
• Implement behavior-based safety tools to ensure incident-free operations

Requirements

• Enrolled in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university
• Completed typically 2+ years of studies in Civil, Structural, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of CAD and other design software
