Civil Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of civil engineering tasks to complete transportation and remedial design projects
• Help develop design drawings and write technical specifications
• Perform engineering calculations to support design projects
• Assist in writing design reports and technical memorandums
• Work effectively and collaboratively with the project team
• Participate in field work, such as sampling or construction oversight assignments
• Implement behavior-based safety tools to achieve incident-free operations

Requirements

• Enrolled in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university
• Completed typically 2+ years of studies in Civil, Structural, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of CAD and other computer software used for design assignments
