Civil Engineering Construction Technician

Responsibilities

• Collect construction materials samples from job sites and perform tests and inspections to assess properties and integrity
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders
• Travel to various job sites throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil preferred)
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history
• Capability to work a flexible schedule and regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute as part of a team
