Responsibilities
- Manage complete civil engineering design requirements for assigned projects
- Coordinate efforts across multiple disciplines and work closely with Project Managers
- Develop high-quality design documentation under the direction of senior engineers
- Execute project planning, analysis, design, and production of engineering drawings
- Adhere to prescribed Design Standards and Design Quality Procedures
- Stay updated on new developments and methods relevant to the field of civil engineering
Requirements
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in geometric design of highways using Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads, MX, or similar software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and local Road Authority Standards
- Understanding of safety in design practices with an emphasis on road safety outcomes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical excellence
