About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the construction of steel structures, ensuring implementation of studies and adherence to schedules
- Ensure smooth and safe operation between work crews
- Modify study designs when necessary and identify errors or omissions early
- Oversee the correct application of steel structure designs by subcontractors and project crews
- Prepare reports and update the Site Manager and Project Director on progress
- Participate in drafting and monitoring supplier and subcontractor contracts
- Monitor and control work expenses
- Prepare certifications and accounts for subcontractors
- Maintain project logs and archives
- Collaborate with other engineers and manufacturers to find optimal solutions
- Ensure all constructions meet current regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 years of experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on large-scale projects
- Very good knowledge of English (oral & written)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of REVIT
- Knowledge of TEKLA
