Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, and cost estimates
• Use engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design plans
• Assess soil composition, terrain, and hydrological characteristics via site visits and maps
• Implement site safety activity plans and coordinate field work
• Manage civil permitting processes with regulatory agencies and municipalities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local zoning and environmental regulations
• Conduct civil engineering risk assessments for hydrology and land grading
• Collaborate with EPC project managers and construction teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or similar discipline
• 8+ years of industry experience
• EPC project experience
• Expert knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), or similar software
• Experience leading discipline design for large projects
• Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced or highly technical engineering environments
• Experience with large-scale, mission-critical construction projects
• Construction administration experience including site observation and RFI review
• Experience with construction and cost estimating processes
• Experience with local/state code compliance
