Civil Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Manage projects of average complexity, evaluating and engineering civil systems and products.
• Develop designs using sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and three-dimensional models.
• Prepare and revise documentation including site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and construction details.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, external consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Perform technical calculations using standard and proprietary software.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects.
• Assist senior engineers with project scope, budget, staffing, and scheduling.
• Participate in client requirement meetings, value analysis, and constructability reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with specialized software such as GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or HydroCAD.
• Strong understanding of National Civil Code, industry standards, and project document production.

• Proven ability to lead teams and effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and agencies.
