Civil Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Work independently on projects of average complexity or as part of a larger team under senior guidance
• Evaluate, select, and engineer civil systems and products for land development projects
• Develop designs using sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and three-dimensional models
• Prepare and revise documentation including site plans, floor plans, and construction details
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, contractors, and vendors
• Perform and oversee technical calculations using standard and proprietary software
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects
• Assist in managing project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with specialized software such as GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or HydroCAD

• Experience in client requirement meetings and value analysis
