Civil Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Manage projects of average complexity, evaluating and engineering civil systems and products.
• Develop designs using sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and three-dimensional models.
• Prepare and revise project documentation, including site plans, floor plans, and construction details.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, external consultants, owners, and contractors.
• Assist senior engineers with project scope, budget management, staffing, and scheduling.
• Perform technical calculations and conduct quality assurance/quality control on assigned projects.
• Participate in client requirement meetings, value analysis, and constructability reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or HydroCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, industry standards, and National Civil Codes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead teams and present to clients.

• Experience with presentation and interview skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict budgets and schedules.
