Civil Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform feasibility and risk assessments for potential sites, including environmental constraints, spatial limitations, and geotechnical conditions
• Develop and maintain a site plan database to support cross-disciplinary engineering and planning teams
• Coordinate with local jurisdictions and utility providers to obtain as-built drawings and subsurface utility information
• Evaluate site feasibility for permit-ready designs by coordinating floodplain analysis and local code requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated, permit-ready site plans

Requirements

• Completed second year of undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering (Master's and PhD students eligible)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with building codes
• Experience developing site plans
