About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage DOT milling contracts from inception through closure
- Review and enter field data into the MCMU database
- Train and assist team members on database use
- Review contractor requisitions and invoices for compliance and accuracy
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, task orders, and daily milled miles reports
- Collaborate with other units and City agencies on related projects
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in civil engineering from an accredited college
- Filed for Exam #5047 or permanent Civil Engineering Intern title eligibility
- Ability to validate field data and maintain database accuracy
- Experience with contract administration, estimates, and financial reporting
