Civil Engineer-E.I.T.

Responsibilities

• Assist in feasibility investigations for new project acquisitions, including identifying constraints and preparing cost estimates.
• Facilitate design plan production for regulatory agency and client submittals and approvals.
• Support Project Managers with engineering design tasks, technical reports, and construction administration.
• Execute engineering services including design calculations for infrastructure, drainage systems, grading, and pavement design.
• Coordinate and attend project progress meetings and agency review meetings.
• Analyze and interpret local, state, and federal regulatory criteria to ensure compliance.
• Implement innovative design concepts to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Registered and active Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification in the required state.
• Minimum 1+ years of engineering experience related to land development projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective time management.
• Ability to work overtime and travel overnight as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential land development.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS.
• Highly organized with strong analytical thinking skills.
