Civil Engineer Drafter

Responsibilities

• Complete design and drafting work for urban development, road, and stormwater drainage projects
• Prepare and present plans, documents, and digital data for client submissions
• Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to create technical drawings
• Maintain drawing standards and consistency using AutoCAD software
• Create design models using 12D software
• Compile reports and manage the copying of plans and documents
• Adhere to project schedules and deadlines
• Conduct site inspections as required

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent tertiary qualification
• 3+ years of experience in Civil Design and Drafting from concept to detailed design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge of engineering principles and drafting standards
• Basic understanding of Civil 3D or 12D modelling software
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• High attention to detail and pride in work quality
