Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design sites including parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion controls, and stormwater management
• Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations regarding detention and retention
• Meet with clients and government agencies throughout the design process
• Manage design projects from conception to completion
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 7+ years of experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Civil 3D
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related design field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• NC and SC PE licenses
• Experience with stormwater detention/retention and LID practices
• Federal work experience with DoD and industrial projects
• Experience in large campus industrial work
• Proficiency in designing and permitting stormwater management facilities and erosion control
