Civil Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in planning, design, and supervising earthworks, roadway, drainage, and utility projects
• Assist with on-site surveying, staking, and inspections
• Draft plans and technical documents in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or related tools
• Help prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and project reports
• Coordinate with contractors, local officials, and vendors
• Attend team meetings and follow up on assigned action items

Requirements

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Civil/Construction Engineering or similar program
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proactive, safety-conscious, and collaborative team player
• Ability to work outdoors and travel to job sites near Liberty, TX
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
