Responsibilities

• Serve as an Owner’s Representative for a 2400 MW CCGT project, overseeing all civil engineering aspects.
• Review detailed designs, specifications, and structural analyses to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings and industry standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures, including regular inspections and audits of contractor procedures.
• Monitor project progress, manage civil engineering budgets, and provide cost forecasting inputs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Review technical documents such as Method Statements (MS), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
• Ensure all civil construction activities comply with HSE standards and project safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Civil Engineer in Power Projects (Combined Cycle).
• Strong knowledge of ACI, ASCE, AISC, IBC, ASTM, BS, ISO, and SBC codes.
• Expertise in concrete structures, steel works, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
• Proficiency in interpreting civil design drawings, MS, ITPs, and MARs.
• Experience with soil compaction testing, concrete strength testing, and rebar inspection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
