Civil Drafter

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and issue drawings for complex engineering projects
• Check drawing sets to ensure accuracy and compliance for major infrastructure works
• Liaise with designers and project team engineers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs
• Plan and manage individual workload and mentor others within the drafting team to meet deadlines and budgets
• Participate in knowledge sharing and learning opportunities, focusing on emerging technologies and Digital Engineering
• Assist in the development of new engineering software, tools, and best practice procedures

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Civil Technician or Drafter
• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar qualification
• Essential experience with TMR Roads and Highways projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Unrestricted Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ProjectWise
