Civil Defense/Aviation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and challenging caseload of civil defense litigation
• Prepare cases for trial in both state and federal courts
• Conduct pre-trial discovery and perform depositions
• Execute high-level legal research and drafting of legal documents
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

Requirements

• Admitted to the Illinois bar in good standing
• Proven experience in civil defense litigation
• Experience practicing in state and federal courts
• Strong research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills
• Ability to handle files with minimal supervision and high organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aviation law, product liability, or premises liability
• Demonstrated trial skills and courtroom experience
