Civil Defense/Aviation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and challenging caseload within the Aviation and Aerospace practice
• Prepare cases for trial and handle litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Conduct pre-trial discovery and perform depositions
• Execute high-level legal research and drafting of legal documents
• Work independently to manage files with minimal supervision while collaborating within a team setting

Requirements

• Admitted to the New York bar in good standing
• Proven experience in civil defense litigation
• Experience practicing in both state and federal courts
• Strong research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aviation law, product liability, or premises liability
• Demonstrated trial skills and courtroom experience
