Civil Crew Foreman

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision for all construction activities, including foundations, fencing, and site maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a crew of 2 to 4 members to ensure quality, timeliness, and safety.
• Prioritize safety by completing daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain project timelines and complete daily site field reports.
• Manage on-site closeout documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for submission.
• Perform technical tasks such as grounding, terminations, fastening, and operating heavy equipment.
• Coordinate and prepare job sites, including cleaning and attending municipal permit inspections if required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proven experience operating an excavator.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, piping diagrams, and job specifications.
• Successful completion of industrial first aid and rescue training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs+ and work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Willingness to travel extensively (80% to 100% of the time) for several months at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related trade school education.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working on a tower construction crew.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
