Civil Conveyance EIT - Water

Responsibilities

• Support civil systems associated with municipal water, wastewater, and drainage conveyance facilities
• Undertake detailed studies and design tasks for site civil, conveyance, and water resources projects
• Perform project administration, including preparing reports, drafting proposals, and assisting in project management
• Coordinate design drawing and specification development
• Write technical memos, design briefs, and reports
• Attend internal, client, and contractor meetings and document minutes
• Assist with site visits and field investigations as necessary
• Perform contract administration for various construction projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Minimum of one year of related work experience
• Registration with EGBC as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or eligibility to register
• Valid Class 5 driving license
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications

• Related Co-op or Internship experience
• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure design and construction
• Experience working with municipalities
• Working knowledge of contract documentation including MMCD and CCDC
• Familiarity with blue and green infrastructure (ponds, wetlands, bioswales, etc.)
• Experience with ArcView GIS or PCSWMM
