Civil Construction Manager/Inspector

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the quality assurance program at the project site
• Read and interpret plans and specifications at various stages of a project
• Initiate actions needed to keep construction progress on schedule
• Solve on-site problems regarding construction and design modifications
• Work in all types of terrain and weather conditions
• Identify and avoid potential hazards for workers and the public
• Track special inspections and materials testing
• Oversee RFIs and submittals
• Attend project meetings and verify quality documentation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in construction materials testing, observation, or construction administration
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and codes
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving history
• Schedule flexibility

Preferred Qualifications

• American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Grade 1
• Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
• OSHA10 or OSHA30
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a construction related field
