Civil Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys to prepare evidence, documents, and presentations for trial.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, and opinions.
• Work alongside a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to manage a variety of cases.

Requirements

• Law degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Actively licensed to practice law in Missouri.
• Ability to become licensed in Illinois.
• 2 to 5+ years of legal experience in the field.
• Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage large caseloads and multiple competing priorities.
