About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances.
- Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys to prepare evidence, documents, and presentations for trial.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, and opinions.
- Work alongside a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to manage a variety of cases.
Requirements
- Law degree from an ABA accredited law school.
- Actively licensed to practice law in Missouri.
- Ability to become licensed in Illinois.
- 2 to 5+ years of legal experience in the field.
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage large caseloads and multiple competing priorities.
