Civil and Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering expertise for Upstream and Downstream projects and manufacturing sites worldwide
• Perform structural design and analysis for fixed and floating offshore structures, including Steel Jacket Platforms and FPSOs
• Conduct fatigue, seismic, and finite element modeling and analysis
• Support onshore technical needs including plant buildings, foundations, and blast-resistant design
• Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, and assist in contractor selection and quality control
• Sustain a culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems

Requirements

• Master’s or post-graduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Offshore Structural Engineering (GPA 7.0 or above)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the offshore structural domain within the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience with fixed and floating offshore structures (e.g., Concrete Gravity Based, Steel Jacket, FPSOs, Semi-Submersibles)
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SACS or STAAD Pro
• Strong knowledge of applicable industrial codes and standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Ability to independently review contractor engineering deliverables
• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
