About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide civil and structural engineering expertise for Upstream and Downstream projects and manufacturing sites worldwide
- Perform structural design and analysis for fixed and floating offshore structures, including Steel Jacket Platforms and FPSOs
- Conduct fatigue, seismic, and finite element modeling and analysis
- Support onshore technical needs including plant buildings, foundations, and blast-resistant design
- Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, and assist in contractor selection and quality control
- Sustain a culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems
Requirements
- Master’s or post-graduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Offshore Structural Engineering (GPA 7.0 or above)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the offshore structural domain within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with fixed and floating offshore structures (e.g., Concrete Gravity Based, Steel Jacket, FPSOs, Semi-Submersibles)
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SACS or STAAD Pro
- Strong knowledge of applicable industrial codes and standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Ability to independently review contractor engineering deliverables
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
