Citrix Administrator/Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Citrix environments including XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Utilize Citrix ADC (NetScaler) and load-balancing solutions
• Manage user profiles, applications, and security policies
• Monitor performance and usage statistics to optimize resource use
• Implement security measures, access controls, and encryption protocols
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with existing infrastructures
• Document system configurations, processes, and user guides
• Plan and execute regular upgrades, patches, and environment optimizations
• Manage Citrix licensing and perform regular health checks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Citrix administration
• Strong knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and NetScaler/ADC
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Active Directory management
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V)
• Experience with PowerShell for automation
• Knowledge of monitoring tools for Citrix environments
• Experience in project management and enterprise-level Citrix implementations
