Citizen Developer (Power User) Lead

Responsibilities

• Support FundsPlace operational teams by leveraging a structured citizen developer framework for solution development and lifecycle management.
• Review and propose business and technical solutions through operational process flow reviews with end-users.
• Develop tools, queries, and automation solutions using MS Office, VBA, SQL, Power Platform, Power BI, and UIPath.
• Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed tools and solutions.
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with operational risk boundaries and frameworks.
• Share best practices and technical knowledge with end-users and team members.
• Lead initiatives independently while collaborating with the wider team and interacting with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in financial services or investment operations.
• Strong Excel skills with advanced knowledge being an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of VBA and/or SQL.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Funds Operations.
• Knowledge of mutual funds and alternative investments.
• Willingness to learn and implement new technologies such as Power BI, Power Platform, and UIPath.
