Cisco LAN/Wifi DDI Senior Expert

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, deployment, and configuration of Cisco LAN (switching), WiFi (wireless), and Infoblox DDI solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support for Cisco LAN, WiFi, and Infoblox environments, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network and DDI-related issues.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security to proactively address potential risks or outages.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve network security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for IT Level 2 staff and support groups.
• Ensure all network and DDI deployments comply with company security policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering with significant hands-on experience in Cisco LAN, WiFi, and Infoblox DDI.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco wireless controllers, and access points.
• Expertise in Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, 802.1X, and wireless security.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNP certification.
• Infoblox Certified Professional certification.
