Cinematographer

Responsibilities

• Lead camera looks and operations for studio, event, and field productions.
• Partner with core content and branded producers to define creative visions.
• Manage camera settings, including shutter angle and aperture, for all productions.
• Define lighting requirements and ensure systems are operational, working with Lighting Directors as needed.
• Oversee camera inventory, maintenance, and equipment check-outs/ins for field shoots.
• Assist with studio production schedules and sourcing additional camera operators or DPs.
• Ensure the safety and proper operation of studio and field camera support systems and grip gear.

Requirements

• 3+ years of camera and lighting experience in studio and/or field settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of lighting design, types, techniques, and rigging.
• Technical proficiency with professional cameras including Sony FX6, Blackmagic, and URSA.
• Strong knowledge of cinema and broadcast lenses.
• Deep understanding of color profiles such as S-Log, Raw, and Rec 709.
• Ability to create LUTs and perform color correction in DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop.
• Passion for gaming, comics, movies, TV, and entertainment.
• Ability to travel globally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of professional lighting systems (e.g., ETC EOS).
• Ability to operate a jib (9ft+).
• Experience setting up camera and lighting in fast-paced event environments with limited setup time.
