About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead camera looks and operations for studio, event, and field productions.
- Partner with core content and branded producers to define creative visions.
- Manage camera settings, including shutter angle and aperture, for all productions.
- Define lighting requirements and ensure systems are operational, working with Lighting Directors as needed.
- Oversee camera inventory, maintenance, and equipment check-outs/ins for field shoots.
- Assist with studio production schedules and sourcing additional camera operators or DPs.
- Ensure the safety and proper operation of studio and field camera support systems and grip gear.
Requirements
- 3+ years of camera and lighting experience in studio and/or field settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of lighting design, types, techniques, and rigging.
- Technical proficiency with professional cameras including Sony FX6, Blackmagic, and URSA.
- Strong knowledge of cinema and broadcast lenses.
- Deep understanding of color profiles such as S-Log, Raw, and Rec 709.
- Ability to create LUTs and perform color correction in DaVinci Resolve.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop.
- Passion for gaming, comics, movies, TV, and entertainment.
- Ability to travel globally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of professional lighting systems (e.g., ETC EOS).
- Ability to operate a jib (9ft+).
- Experience setting up camera and lighting in fast-paced event environments with limited setup time.
