Cinematic Media Artist

Responsibilities

• Compose and capture cinematic single player and multiplayer gameplay sequences for trailers, ads, and social videos
• Work in Unreal Engine 5 to create bespoke cinematic sequences using existing or modified game assets
• Create compelling trailers, imagery, and gameplay videos for external and internal purposes
• Maintain and update game builds on a weekly basis
• Generate shot lists based on creative briefs, pitch decks, and editorial string outs
• Work closely with creative directors, producers, and marketing executives to ensure creative vision is achieved
• Report gameplay issues and bugs to development and creative services teams
• Coordinate delivery of produced content for distribution

Requirements

• Experience creating game-related game capture for a development studio or creative agency
• General understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and sequencer
• Experience in creative video editorial work in a post-production facility or creative agency
• Mid-Senior level knowledge of industry standard video editing software
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
• Understanding of post-production workflows and video formats
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Current demo reel showcasing previous editing and game capture work

Preferred Qualifications

• Mid-Senior level of Adobe After Effects
• Strong compositing skills and experience working with DaVinci Resolve
• Experience filming live action video (Sony, RED)
• Passion for the gaming industry and various genres
