CIB, Structured Finance Strategy & Business Development Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Structured Finance business with a focus on strategy, business development, market intelligence, and transaction analytics.
• Maintain the structured finance pipeline and prepare summaries for senior management to support opportunity prioritization and client targeting.
• Track market activity, including pricing, terms, structures, and competitor league tables using Infralogic and other industry sources.
• Perform business performance analysis covering P&L, balance sheet, distribution activity, and RWA/capital forecasting.
• Develop and maintain forward-looking strategic plans and deliver rigorous analysis to achieve growth objectives.
• Build polished, executive-ready presentation materials, capability decks, and internal readouts.
• Improve recurring reporting and content production through automation and the use of AI tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in structured finance, project/infrastructure finance, leveraged lending, credit, or capital markets analytics.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Working knowledge of structured finance and lending concepts, including capital structure and credit metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Dealogic, Infralogic, FactSet, Capital IQ, or Bloomberg.
• Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate research and streamline workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to structured finance subsectors such as infrastructure, renewables, transportation, or fund finance.
• Experience with internal banking processes including credit approval support and diligence tracking.
• Proficiency in Power Query, Power Pivot, or basic VBA for productivity enhancements.
