CIB Private Debt Mobilization - Structured Finance, Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the origination of loan syndication, project finance, and structured financing mandates for infrastructure, power, renewables, and energy-related clients.
• Act as a senior deal captain, managing transactions from origination through underwriting, closing, and distribution.
• Serve as a primary client contact and relationship manager for sponsors, corporates, and institutional clients.
• Develop and execute syndication and distribution strategies, including lender targeting and market sounding.
• Lead the structuring of complex financings, including acquisition finance, corporate facilities, and hybrid debt structures.
• Negotiate term sheets, loan documentation, and material project agreements in coordination with Legal and Credit Risk teams.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior deal team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in loan syndications, project finance, infrastructure finance, or leveraged/corporate lending.
• Proven track record of originating and executing complex syndicated loan and project finance transactions.
• Deep understanding of credit analysis, financial modeling, loan documentation, and underwriting.
• Established network of relationships with sponsors, developers, commercial banks, and institutional investors in the Americas.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on risk management and franchise development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or other advanced degree in a related field.
• Prior experience as a lead arranger or bookrunner.
• Established network across energy transition clients and infrastructure sponsors.
