CIB Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate written analyses of banks and other financial institutions, including Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI), across assigned geographic markets
• Perform extensive financial statement analysis of individual institutions and conduct peer comparisons within the same country or sub-industry
• Assign accurate risk ratings with adequate justification and documentation to support internal credit policies
• Utilize monitoring tools to identify potential problem loans within specific markets or counterparties
• Maintain credit files for assigned accounts and assist in planning for country exposure reviews
• Support internal and external exams by preparing necessary credit folders under the supervision of the Loan Team Manager

Requirements

• 2+ years of CIB Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit underwriting skills
• Proficiency in risk rating assignment and credit documentation
• Excellent note writing skills and a strong command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or Banking, CA, CMA, FRM, CFA, or a postgraduate degree in Economics
• Experience in corporate credit underwriting or credit rating for large corporates
• Specialized experience in credit rating or underwriting for financial institutions
• Previous experience working in the credit department of wholesale banks or credit rating agencies
