Christmas Kettle Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee Christmas Kettle locations in London, Ontario, and surrounding areas, including shopping malls and retail outlets
• Organize, direct, and supervise the work of campaign staff and volunteers
• Coordinate the daily delivery and pick-up of kettles, ensuring the security of all donations
• Manage the secure collection, counting, storage, and depositing of cash and cheque donations
• Recruit, train, and provide performance management for kettle volunteers and assistant coordinators
• Maintain accurate records of shifts and donations using Salesforce and local spreadsheets
• Liaise with service clubs, churches, and businesses to secure kettle sponsorships and volunteer coverage
• Respond to donor inquiries and represent the organization professionally at kettle sites

Requirements

• Completed Secondary School diploma
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License with a personal vehicle and insurance
• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in volunteer supervision or money handling
• Experience with Salesforce Volunteer Management Software
• Background in office administration
