About the role

Responsibilities

  • Scope, plan, and coordinate maintenance activities at the Clarence CHPP to meet operational needs safely and efficiently
  • Develop the weekly CHPP maintenance plan, including both planned and corrective work orders
  • Manage spare parts in the CHPP store, including ordering, managing deliveries, and maintaining min/max stock levels
  • Collate scheduled work orders and ensure the correct Safe Work Procedures (SWP) are attached to each
  • Demonstrate work health and safety leadership and comply with site Health & Safety Management Systems
  • Provide input into incident and near-miss investigations and complete assigned corrective actions
  • Monitor contractor and visitor compliance with site safety requirements and PPE usage
  • Communicate emerging maintenance issues to the CHPP Process Coordinator and management team
  • Provide operational and maintenance support, including shift coverage if required

Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrician
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a CHPP planner, supervisor, or similar maintenance role
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Supervisor Training (S1, S2, S3 / RIIRIS301, RIIOHS301, RIICOM301)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Project)
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills for report writing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate Certificate in Asset & Maintenance Management
  • Post-trade training in Maintenance Planning
  • Training in Incident Investigation
  • RIIRIS402 (G2) certification
  • Current Order 43/45 Pre-Placement Health Assessment
