About the role
Responsibilities
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Support for kitchen preparations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position in a large luxury resort or reputable Chinese restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of food safety principles and best practices
- Diploma in Culinary, Hospitality, or a related major
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP certification
