Responsibilities

• Collaborate with music teachers across the network to build a superb musical program

• Engage in training and collaboration with music teachers and leaders for targeted feedback and professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree by start date
• Knowledge of healthy singing habits and strategies for blend, intonation, and dynamic contrast
• Strong knowledge of vocal production, part-singing, and age-appropriate repertoire
• Ability to teach accurate pronunciation and articulation in multiple languages used in choral repertoire
• Track record of engaging students in music through creating, performing, and participating
• Teaching experience with music materials and resources to propel learning
• Understanding of the cultural dimensions and contributions of music
• Experience working with groups of children
• Leadership experience overseeing people or organizing activities
