Chip Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect the overall IC structure, including digital, analog, and mixed-signal blocks and test strategies.
• Translate high-level product specifications into detailed technical requirements for design teams.
• Perform system-level optimization by balancing trade-offs in performance, power, area, and cost.
• Collaborate with product managers, software architects, and customers to clarify requirements and align on milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to design engineers and sub-system architects.
• Define technical interfaces and ensure alignment with external suppliers and partners.
• Drive end-to-end chip delivery from initial concept and specification through to tape-out and production.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IC architecture definition and SoC architecture design.
• Expertise in system-level optimization and balancing complex technical trade-offs.
• Strong technical leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing the full chip development lifecycle from specification to qualification.
