Chilled Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing production team within a food manufacturing environment
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (BRC, HACCP), hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Monitor and improve production KPIs including efficiency, waste, downtime, and output
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Manage labour, materials, and production resources effectively
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production management
• Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, chilled food, or fresh produce production
• Experience managing teams in a high-volume production environment
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with rotating days and nights
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and BRC compliance
• Experience with KPI reporting dashboards and continuous improvement/lean manufacturing
