Chilled Intake Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Chilled Intake team across the weekend shift
• Ensure all raw materials are received, checked and booked into stock accurately
• Manage labour resources to meet operational requirements
• Monitor departmental KPIs and implement improvements
• Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are adhered to
• Conduct team briefings and communicate key business updates
• Support training and development of team members
• Complete shift reports and maintain accurate operational records
• Liaise effectively with Production, Planning, Technical and Warehouse teams
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, logistics or warehouse operations
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to motivate teams and manage performance
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Experience working in fast-paced operational environments
• IT literacy with experience in stock control or warehouse systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
• Experience in intake, goods-in, warehouse or inventory management
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
