ChildWatch Counselor

Responsibilities

• Nurture children through purposeful activities dedicated to building relationships
• Supervise children in the Child Watch classroom, game room, and all activities
• Follow all procedures and standards for maintaining a safe environment
• Make ongoing observations of children and maneuver between locations quickly
• Cultivate positive relationships and maintain effective communication with parents
• Maintain program site, equipment, and required program records
• Plan, lead, and participate in activities

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be certified in CPR and First Aid within first 30 days of employment
• Ability to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, sex-offender check, and criminal history check
