About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with children ranging from 6 weeks to 13 years old
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for kids
- Provide high-quality customer service and interpersonal interaction
- Uphold YMCA core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for entire shift and lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to handle a busy environment
- High school Diploma/GED preferred
- 12 months experience working with children preferred
- Must be certified in CPR/First Aid & Safety within 30 days of employment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender, and reference checks
