Childcare Floater/Teacher Aide

Responsibilities

• Effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff breaks and absences
• Assume classroom duties for staff members before or after their scheduled shifts
• Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
• Operate as a team player under the direction of the Center Director and lead teachers
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for children of all age groups

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, and climb stairs to work around small children
• Availability for Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a childcare or early childhood education setting
