Childcare Cook

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 70 children daily
• Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and inventory control
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with Food Safety regulations
• Maintain strict adherence to dietary and allergy safety requirements
• Operate independently while working as part of a supportive team

Requirements

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certificate
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proven experience in menu planning and managing dietary/allergy requirements
• Availability for set shift days and times, Monday to Friday
