Childcare Attendant

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging environment that promotes play, learning, and fun for all children
• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate individual and group activities
• Attend to children’s personal care needs, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines
• Maintain constant awareness of each child’s location and well-being to ensure safety
• Keep the environment clean, hygienic, and organized
• Model and encourage positive behavior and conflict resolution
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 3 and under
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong understanding of child development for children ages 3 and under
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
