Childcare Assistant Director

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with developing and executing programs that contribute to the care, growth, and development of children and staff
• Support enrollment activities, including conducting tours and distributing marketing materials to potential families
• Ensure all State and Company regulations are followed through regular licensing checks
• Provide guidance to teachers regarding creative curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization
• Establish professional and supportive relationships with parents and employees
• Maintain the physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a relevant field
• Level III administrator qualification
• Previous leadership, management, or administrative experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Availability to work Monday - Friday, including the ability to open or close the center when needed
