Childbearing/Obstetrics Nursing Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and practicum teaching within the nursing programs
• Participate in course and program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Conduct site visits to healthcare agencies hosting practicum sites
• Assess and evaluate curriculum implementation and teaching activities in accordance with accreditation and state regulatory standards
• Integrate Christian faith and learning into teaching, scholarship, and service

Requirements

• Master's or higher degree in nursing
• Demonstrated teaching experience in a Registered Nurse (RN) program
• Unencumbered California Registered Nurse license
• Direct patient care experience within the last 5 years
• Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience in the designated nursing area (Childbearing/Obstetrics or Pediatrics)
• Ability to function at the level of a staff RN in the designated nursing area

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in the designated field of nursing
• Candidates currently progressing toward a terminal degree

• Annual compensation ranging from $90,000 – $105,000
