Child-Led Learning Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate daily learning experiences based on the child’s interests and natural curiosity
• Blend academic structure with exploratory, imaginative play and projects across numeracy, science, history, arts, and nature
• Foster emotional intelligence, creativity, critical thinking, and independence through real-world projects and sensory-rich activities
• Implement child-led, curiosity-driven learning models that evolve as the child grows
• Create and maintain portfolios documenting learning progress using photos, notes, and reflections
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and emotionally responsive learning environment
• Guide the child through emotional moments and frustrations with patience

Requirements

• Academic background in Primary Education
• Proven experience working with primary-aged children in academic and project-based settings
• Knowledge or experience in unschooling, homeschooling, or alternative education methods (e.g., Waldorf or holistic methods)
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or French is a plus
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
• Strong observational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Waldorf or other holistic educational approaches
• Chinese or French nationality
