Child Development Program Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide general oversight of center management through supportive supervision of center directors and multi-site supervisors.
• Coordinate operational, administrative, contract, enrollment, and licensing procedures.
• Oversee facility maintenance and ensure adherence to HSPPS, NH CCLU rules, and other regulations.
• Manage Human Resources systems, including criminal background checks, professional development, and employee conduct.
• Assist the Child Development Director in developing grant applications and contributing to strategic planning.
• Implement systems to ensure child safety through Active Supervision strategies across the program.
• Evaluate monitoring results and trends to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.
• Facilitate the completion of the Program Information Report (PIR) and develop program evaluation processes.
• Represent the agency in community partnerships and at professional conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to relate effectively to parents, staff, and the community.
• Ability to work in a team environment that supports integrated services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Head Start or Early Head Start programs.
