Child Care Registration Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate community resources and act as a liaison between child care providers, agencies, and the public
• Supervise Registrars and support staff performing registration and licensing activities
• Conduct final reviews of applications and make recommendations for registration or licensure
• Ensure application records are maintained accurately and organized
• Oversee daily communication with providers regarding compliance with health and safety regulations
• Tabulate and submit required reports to office leadership
• Make presentations at community meetings and health fairs to promote licensed providers

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work, OR
• High school graduation and six years of experience in community work, OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least one year of relevant experience as specified in the degree requirement

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset
• Experience with data entry and querying large datasets
• Working knowledge of child care regulations
